Job Description
- Sets the agenda for clinical effectiveness and the strategy for improving and maintaining the quality of the clinical workforce in adherence to the competencies set.
- Serve as a resource for PHCC data on clinical quality, quality assurance and clinical incidents.
- Maintain multiple tables and data bases of peer review activities.
- Design and implement the Policies and ways of working for clinical staff.
- Use verbal and written communication skills to establish and maintain effective relationships, facilitate multi-disciplinary team
- Apply knowledge/expertise in clinical standards and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide physicians and ancillary staff with orientation at inception of privileges and ongoing to ensure that all understand the role of ongoing professional practice evaluation.
- Line Management
- Manages the team to ensure adherence to their Job Description requirements and to PHCC policies and procedures.
- The incumbent will undertake any such related duties or responsibilities as directed.
Experience & Knowledge
- Background in health research.
- Experience as a Team Leader.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance/clinical effectiveness.
- Primary medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Master’s in Public Health or Community Medicine.
